Worked in planning and design department of the company from October 1977 to March 1980 as planning engineer.
Posted as resident engineer to look after the work of manufacturing, supplying, erection and commissioning of vertical lift gates and embedded parts of barrage.
Joined Om Metals and Minerals Ltd Kota in July 1985 as project manager and completed the following works:
Erection testing and commissioning of vertical lift gates.
Erection, testing and commissioning of radial gates
Manufacturing supplying, erection testing and commissioning of radial and vertical lift gates of Narmada Main Canal Under two contracts upto 144.5 km Narmada Main canal. The work of manufacturing and supply was completed in 1994 and the erection of gates was in progress and was completed upto 70% in May 1996 when i left company and started of my own in the name of Balaji Engineers, a proprietorship firm.
