The Japan Karate Association of India has been established in India since last 25 Years. We are a karate-do organisation affiliated to The All India Karate-do Federation which is further recognised by The India Olympics Association & Sports and Education Ministry of India.
The Japan Karate Association of India holds National Training Camp and Junior National as well as Senior National Karate Championships every year under the supervision of the Chief Instructor of India Shihan Soichi Sasaki (7TH Dan Black Belt & The Member of the Shihan Kai Panel).
The JKA India also is affiliated to The JKA ASIA OCEANIA and the parent JKA World Body i.e. SHAHDAN HOJJIN NIHON KARATE KYOKAI SEKAI RENMAI (SHAHDAN HOJJIN JAPAN KARATE ASSOCIATION WORLD FEDERATION (President Nobuyuki Nakahara)
The JKA India has produced the best National Champions in the History of Indian Karate Namely Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Award Winner Mr. Chandrashekhar Shetty & Mr. Karl Naoroji.
Under the expert guidance of Sensei Anil B. Garodia (President) and Sensei Anand Ratna (Technical Director) The JKA India has been reaching new heights in the field of Karate-do every year, The JKA India being also a Charitable Association has helped the promotion of karate-do in India in many ways & kinds.
We also send The National Karate Team to Japan with the support of Tenrikyo Indo Mission which is a charitable mission associated with the JKA India since last 23 years. This mission looks after the Indian Team in Japan that goes to participate in the Shoto World Championships every alternate year in Tokyo, Japan.
