Burute Radiology Clinic is run by Dr. Ulhas Burute and Dr. Smita Ultas Burute. It was started by Dr. Ulhas Burute in August 1999 who has done his M.D. in radiology from Sion Hospital, Mumbai and later has done DNB too. He has taken special training in colour doppler at Jaslok Hospital and then at Dr. Mukund Joshis Clinic who is renowned sonologist.
To start with, there was only sonography and colour doppler. He was first to start doppler facility in Pimpri Chinchwad Corporation area, Otherwise all the patients from this area, had to go all the way to Pune for this study.
As his wife Dr. Mrs. Smita Burute completed her radiology, the clinic was expanded in July 2002. Being lady radiologist, it was advantageous for them to start (mammography) and the clinic took a larger face by introducing X ray machine, mammography and OPG.
Again mammography & OPG facility became available for the first time in Pimpri Chinchwad area. Now the females from this area, have started getting awareness for the mammography.
So now these many facilities are available under one roof, with a promise to give quality reports as early as possible., i.e. within 5 to 10 minutes.
