Gujarat Cypromet Limited is the only major new entrant in manufacture of copper and copper alloy tubes, sections and profiles in the post liberalisation phase of the Indian economy. We have been fortunate to have access to state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated indigenous as well as imported equipment to set up this export-oriented facility with capacity of 7,200 MT/annum.
Plant and Machinery
A fully automated 2,500 U.S. Tons Capacity Extrusion Press with P.L.C. controls and under-water extrusion facility, which incidentally is the biggest installation in the country, is installed.
An ultra modern physical and chemical testing including computerised Spectroscopic Analyser for precise alloying and composition control, multi-range Microscope for micro structure examination, Eddy Current Testing and Hydraulic Pressure Testing facility for final inspection has been provided.
The plant and machinery has been laid out to international standards over a built up area of 10,000 Sq. mtrs. with provision of captive power generation installation and full range of infrastructure services. In addition, we have ensured non-polluting working conditions in the plant.
We have built a competent team of process engineering and operational management specialists drawn from steel, aluminium and copper processing industries. We propose to obtain ISO and allied Quality Assurance Certification shortly. |
