I Vishwas Dake, graduated from V.M. Medical College, Solapur. M.S. and D.O.M.S. from B.I.Medical College Pune. Life Member of National Eye Research Foundation, Chicago. I am associated professor at 'Bharati Vidyapeeth'. I have previously work with 'Poona Hospital', 'Jahangir Hospital', 'Rube Hale', 'Pune Advantists Hospital'.
I have established on Eye bank and work as Cornea Surgeon at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital since 1980 to 1991. I had established my own institute in the name of Dr.Dake's Institute for Sight and Laser Centre and started working in the field of Diabetic Eye Care since 1991.
Installed Argon Laser Unit. We have conducted 157 diabetic eye camps all over Maharashtra, examined and treated over 10000 diabetic patients and operated many.
We are the pioneer institutes in 1989 for various types of contact lenses including cosmatic contact lenses. I have a center for squent patients with the facility of excersises of surgery. We also have the facility for the stitchless cataract surgery. We also have the facility of 'Phaco Machine' for cataract surgery. We also have the facility of Vitroretinal surgery. I was the president of 'Poona Ophthalamic Society'.
I was deeply involved with social work mainly through the 'Lions Club Internatinal'. I was the President of Lions Club of Pune Ganeshkhind. I have served as the district chairman for the sight programme of the Lions Club International. We have got a team of dedicated eye surgeons who work as associates at our institute.
Our Anethists are the most efficient and work at different hospitals mainly for the cardiac and Bia Pass Surgeries. It is needless to mention but necessary that the discombination of qualified M.S.Eye surgeons and the cordiac Anethatists makes the surgery full proof, safe with an excellent outcome.
To add we are been in reearch activity mainly at the cataract and diabetic. I have been a student of Bio-Chemistry, working on Bio-Chemistry of human lens. I have six national and internatinoal papers on Lens Bio-Chemistry. Along with Prof. Dr.p.M.Gulakh at B.I.Medical College. I have participated in various natinoal international congress as a speaker, pannelist and or moderate.
