Foam products started off in 1979 at Yeshwantpur Industrial Subrub, Bangalore. In the year 1982 the factory was moved to our own premises situated at Plot No.232, 3rd phase, Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore 560058. The company's interests were initially in the area of Latex Rubber Foam Cushions manufacturing.
Subsequently M/s. Foam Products has diversified and expanded quickly realising the growth of the industry, and the potential that Polyurethane Foams offered - thus Unit II - Foam Products Polyurethane was established situated at 756/2, Kundumaranapalli, Kelamangalam Road, Dharmapuri District, Tamilnadu - 635 113. (66 Km from Bangalore near TVS Motor Company Ltd).
Foam Products is equipped with state of art, innovation technology, man and machine to manufacture a wide range of Polyurethane Mouldings, and in order to cut down on the operational cost of our customer, we started Complete Seat Assemblies for Two Wheelers as well as Four Wheelers.
M/s. Foam Products - Unit II is equipped with Polyurethane Moulded Flexible Foam high Pressure machine from Elastogran (Germany) P-80 along with formulation system, Heating system with Two Rotary Conveyor for producing foam pads of different densities based on MDI Foaming. Moulded Flexible Foams based on MDI are now well established in the Automotive Industry, particularly in Europe and increasingly in the Asia Pacific region.
Advantages of MDI foams include excellent durability, good ageing properties and high levels of comfort.
Our systems show excellent processing robustness and short demould times as MDI-based foams cure quickly with rapid hardness builts up. In production there is a minimum amount of waste of foam from mould vents and seals, with a very low rejection rate. The basic raw materials are Isocyanate and Polyol. We use ICI/Elastogran raw material only.
