- Foundations such as piling, rafts, ground improvement techniques including vibroflotation, sand drains, stone columns etc.
- Machine foundations on soil, piles and spring mounted.
- Earthquake Engineering with experience in nuclear power plants, isolation techniques and drafting BIS 1893 (1984)
- Chimney including single flue concrete or steel and multiflue chimneys with steel flues for units upto 500 MW.

EXPERIENCE:
M.Z KURIAN worked during his early years with consultants in India, France, UK and then joined Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) one of the largest Consulting Organisations in India.During his tenure of 25 years with TCE which he joined in early years he grew with the organisation working on industrial and power projects of all kind (Thermal, Nuclear and Hydro) and capacities upto 500 MW (More details are given in his biodata attached).
Subsequently in 1994 he set up his own Consulting firm and worked on significant similar but smaller projects, his thrust has been mainly in his areas of skill and expertise.
Since formation of the firm we have been working for reputed firms such as Larsen and Toubro Ltd., Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd., Fouress Engineering India Ltd, Deutche Babcock Balke Durr Ltd., Fichtner (India) Ltd., Boving Fouress Ltd., Deutche Babcock Anlagen Ltd., VA Tech Wabag Ltd., Encon Services Ltd., Promac Engineering Industries Ltd. EQUIPMENT:
We are well equipped with 5 PCs 2.386/486 and 3 Pentium together with UPS, Printer, A3 Plotter, plain paper Fax cum copier etc.
SOFTWARE:
We use the latest standard programs such as STAAD 3 / STAAD – PRO/ and special in house programs for water retaining structure, chimney, machine foundations etc. and Auto CAD for drafting.

We have a range of commonly used Civil Engineering Codes Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS), British Standards (BS), German Standards (DIN), U.S Standards Concrete Institute Etc., and a library of books and Technical documents for reference.
