As an established Estate Agent, my strugle to achieve present day status of the firm of Messrs. Nagindas Shah & Co. I as a Proprietor of this firm m.anrate flying information.
The firm of Messrs Nagindas Shah & Co. was originally given birth by my father Shri Nagindas Shah back in 1960/61.
Present day position is so fiowy, as One has to collect number of ethical service factors. My father brought in this firm as an Estate Consultant.
Late Shri Nagindas Shah my father landed in Bombay sometime in early 1955. He started by joining a modest service on 75/- salary. His aim was to give proper guidance and honest service to customers come calling for advice.
During that time around jobs were easier. One would get money i.e. sufficient for his livelihood but very difficult to get shelter so to say "Rotlo male but Otlo (shelter) No male.
Thus my father started profession of Sstate Consultant in a small place of double room used as residence-cum-office and this is the place where my present office is.
During 60s this profession was considered low. However my father worked very hard and worked dilligently for about 7/8 year after which I joined the business. Slowly and steadily our business was growing as Real estate Agents. This was because we gave real price to buyers and sellers. In all deal my father was considered as Honest and Real Broker.
Subsequently number of builders entrusted Sole selling agency to my father to put deals thru.
The writer that is myself as his son joined in the busine.ss in about 1970. Thus firms business grew and our firm, was considered Real Estate Agents of repute.
Naturally we were entrusted with sole rights for deals. We were giving proper guidance in sale and purchase of properties. Transfers, Agreement of Sale, Purchase, Ownership, Rentals, Lease, etc.
As from 1973 onwards we were given sole selling rights by builders as also sales agents, as Estate Market knew, we would never let down any of customers. de enjoyed sole selling rights uf several properties in Santacruz, Vile Parle, Juhu Scheme, Andheri, and right upto Borivali and far upto Bhayandar. By 1995 we had established our reputation.
Unfortunately as God wish my father expired in Dec. 1996 after severe sickness. Our responsibility was cleared to all our customers, Builders, Landlords, Investors and other agents also.
My present business is restricted in Vile Perle (East & West), Juhu Scheme, Gulmohar Road, Santacruz & Andheri (East & West).
Number of our clients do not wish to be identified of their investments. It's therefore we carry their confidence.
Our service includes advice on investment, purchase and sale of Properties, Procedure of preparation of Agreements, Stamp Duty, Registration, Society Transfers. Ownership, Rentals, Lease, etc.
