OOPS COMPUTER ACADEMY is a computer-training institute and was inaugurated on 29th July 2001. Initially it was functioning under the name of ‘Webbs Computers’, which in turn was started on 12th October 2000.
The strength of the institute has been on the rise ever since it first Started it’s operations. WEBBS had strength of 97 students in a span of only 7 months i.e. 13 enrollments per month and OOPS has an overwhelming strength of over 250 students in 1 year and 8 months and the number is constantly on the rise.
Miss Yogita Chavan manages the day to day affairs of the institute. She is a young Dynamic lady of 25. She is the Proprietor-cum-Director of the company. She has done her graduation in science with Maths as her major subject in TYBSc with First Class. Having had an excellent academic career, she has also passed the MBA entrance exam from K.J. Somaiya College of Management which she could not further pursue for some reasons. She is proficient in programming languages like C/C++/Java/VB.
At Oops computer Academy, we see that each student has detailed knowledge of the subject for which he or she has enrolled. To ensure this the students are given multiple assignments which are to be completed within a given time frame. This ensures that the knowledge passed on to him does not remain theorotical. All students are provided with a certificate after completion of their course after clearing the necessary exams.
About the Staff
At Oops computer academy, faculty is selected after a thorough screening ensuring that he or she has complete knowledge of the courses/subjects they are going to cover. We also make it a point to see that the faculties are also uptodate with the latest in the industy and the necessary support and training material is provided to them for the same.
Home Education
OOPS COMPUTER ACADEMY provides an added facility of giving home training to the students. People, who find it difficult to come to the center for any reasons, can get their class right in the luxury of their homes.
About Students
At this Academy a detailed report of all the students is maintained. Right from their addresses to their progress reports. At the time of admission, the student has to fill 2 forms. One for the admission and the other, their attendance sheet, which the student has to fill everyday without fail after their lecture is over. The attendance sheet reflects towards the regularity, sincerity and interest of the student towards learning.
Age is not barrier for us. We have students from all ages from 5 to 75 years.
