I, Dr.Sunil U Patil, am a qualified general surgeon with special interest in gastroenterology. I have done my graduate and postgraduate training in Mumbai from T.N.Medical College. I am in private practise since past 12 years. After my postgraduate training I have worked under Dr.Charudutt Patankar M.S.FRCS. and later I had the good fortune of working with world renowned surgeon Dr.Tehempton E.Udwadia M.S., FRCS for 3 years under whom I developed my interest and expertise in the field of G.I.Surgery.

Patil Hospital was started by me in the year 1994 as a total surgical hospital. At that time we were concentrating on all open surgical procedures including general surgical, orthopaedic, ophthalmological and ENT procedures. With increasing newer developments in the field of gastroenterology I have tried to update and so have today a well equiped setup to handle a majority of GI cases.

Hospital is government recognised for MTP under my guidance upto 12 weeks pregnancy. All endoscopic procedures and surgeries are done including urological procedures under urosurgeon Dr.Sami Desai.
