Vinod H Shah passed B.Com examination in the year 1973 with advance accounting and auditing as principle subject having certificate of Income Tax Practitioner, Issued by Commissioner of Income Tax U/S 288 of Income Tax Act, 1961 since 1988.
Experience
Worked with public limited company in the capacity of senior accounts assistant for about 7 years after obtaining intial 2 years experience with small concerns.
Worked with a public limited company as accounts executive for 4 and 1/2 years.
Main assignment was finalisation of accounts and preparation of annual report of the company considering various obligations, company law, income tax law etc also handling income tax work of the company which gave exposure of filing of income tax return, representing company for income tax assessments, filing of appeals and preparation of compilation, attending conferences with experts, advocates in the matter of legal dispute for which appeals are preferred with Income Tax Department till Income Tax Appellate Tribunal.
Worked with a private limited company as a chief accountant for about 4 and 1/2 years. Heading accounts department exposure includes handling of banking and financial institution, excise laws, sales tax and income tax law and various other obligations under PF and ESIS etc
At present practicing as Tax Consultant since last 15 years independently handling audits under Income Tax Act as well as Company's Act, drafting document i.e. partnership deeds, MOU, certain agreements. Main concentration on small groups mainly having business of construction and development of properties handling individual files etc.
Representing clients for all concerned matter of Income Tax includes filing of Income Tax Return, Scurtiny Assessment,filing of related appeals till tribunal level, representing clients for survey, seizures etc.
